8. Reflection

Experience
I almost died because my time management for this module was a mess. However, I have learned a lot and practiced a lot because learning without practice means nothing. With consistent practice, I have gained a better understanding of what I want to do and improved my skills. I have truly enjoyed this experience. Despite the challenges, I have enjoyed the creative process, and I believe these skills will be valuable in the future.

Observation
Every week in advanced typography class, we receive feedback, which helps us view things from a broader perspective. I’ve noticed that even with the same assignment, everyone creates unique outcomes based on their creativity. During class, I could share ideas with my peers, which allowed us to exchange thoughts and become more competitive, always striving to do our best in every task. I realized that every little detail is important for creating harmony, balance, and beauty in design. And while weaknesses are part of being human, the desire to learn is one of our greatest strengths.

Findings
Typography has encouraged me to express words visually and to understand that it’s more than just fonts and typefaces. It is about conveying the essence of a word through design. Throughout the course, I have learned valuable skills such as problem-solving and technical techniques. Consulting about my work and receiving feedback has been especially important; the more feedback I received, the better my results became.
