2. Task 3 - Illustrated Typography Poster

Research

Figure 2.1 Source: Pinterest

I started by searching for examples of the given words using Pinterest, Google, and some websites to help me get a better idea.

Sketches

Figure 2.2 Sketches

For the Illustrated Typography Poster, I want to create a design using a clipping mask. My rough sketches are quite messy, so I can't explain much through them. Once I digitize the sketches, I'll be able to explain better and provide images to illustrate what I mean.

Digitilization of Sketches

Figure 2.3 Digitilization of Sketches

#1 For the first one, I created an outline text effect on the words "Live Each Day With." So I can move the text, and it appears as a stroke when placed over a subject.

#2 For the second one, I created the word "Purpose" using a clipping mask.

#3 & #4 For the third and final one, I added decorations such as wallpaper, shapes, and lines while creating a key for the word "Purpose" to make the meaning clearer.

Final Outcome
So here is the result:

3. Reflection

For this project, IVN & DPI (Illustrated Typography Poster) is quite so fun because this is the first project to collaborate with another module. Although I had some trouble when I was making an outline text for the words "Live Each Day With". However, I did make it and I was quite satisfied with my result for Illustrated Typography Poster.
